Meet Jillian Quigley

I have been training pets since the age of 14, developing a lifelong passion for helping both animals and the people who love them. Through years of hands-on experience with my own pets and volunteer work in local rescue shelters, I learned that many behavioral challenges come down to communication and understanding between pets and their guardians. In 2025, I founded Quigley and Critters with a mission centered on compassion, education, and connection.

As a completely blind trainer, I am also passionate about challenging misconceptions surrounding disability. Many people focus on how they imagine they would cope without sight, rather than recognizing the skills, adaptability, and experience of the individual in front of them. My work is dedicated not only to training pets, but also to showing others that disability does not define ability. I approach life and training differently, not less effectively, and I strive to educate others through both my work and example.
